More city than you expected. More community than you'd find almost anywhere else.

Detroit has had a serious glow-up. The restaurant scene is legitimately exciting, the suburbs are gorgeous, and the cost of living relative to other major metros means your dollar goes much further here than it did where you're coming from.

Top-Ranked Schools

Northville, Birmingham, and Grosse Pointe consistently rank among Michigan's best districts.

Auto Industry Hub

Ford, GM, and Stellantis headquarters plus hundreds of suppliers and tech partners, all within the metro.

Growing Tech Scene

Google, Microsoft, and mobility-tech companies have serious presence across southeast Michigan.

Four Actual Seasons

Trail systems, lakes, and parks you'll actually use. Summer in Michigan is genuinely one of the best anywhere.

Which one sounds like you?

Moving for the Big Three +
Ford, GM, and Stellantis keep most of their operations in southeast Michigan. Most new buyers land near Dearborn or Allen Park, or commute from Northville and Plymouth. The commutes here are nothing like a denser market — we can find you something that keeps the drive short and the home beautiful.
Relocating for Auto Suppliers & Mobility Tech +
The supplier ecosystem is massive, with many companies based in Troy, Auburn Hills, and Southfield. Bloomfield Hills and Royal Oak are popular landing spots — walkable weekends and an easy commute up I-75 or 696.
Moving for Tech +
Ann Arbor and Detroit proper have become real tech hubs, but most tech families land in Northville, Novi, or South Lyon when kids and schools enter the picture. You're still close to everything, and you'll have more house than you thought possible at this price point.
Moving to Prioritize Schools +
If school district is the starting point, Northville, Birmingham, and Grosse Pointe are your top three. They each have a completely different feel, so once you know your must-haves we can get specific fast. The neighborhood quiz is a great first step.
Coming from a Higher Cost-of-Living Market +
If you're coming from the Bay Area, New York, or Austin, your budget is about to feel like a superpower. Homes here are larger, lots are bigger, and commutes are manageable. Buyers who make this move almost universally say they wish they'd done it sooner.

Find the one that actually fits your life.

Every community here has a different energy, a different school district, and a different sweet spot on price. Every home below is one we've sold.

The stuff no listing will tell you.

The neighborhoods are only half the picture. Here's what makes day-to-day life in Metro Detroit genuinely good.

The Food Scene

Detroit's restaurant culture has legitimately arrived. From Coriander Kitchen to Selden Standard to the corridor along South Old Woodward in Birmingham, you will eat very well here.

Outdoor Access

The Huron-Clinton Metroparks system is remarkable. Kensington, Hudson Mills, and Stony Creek offer hiking, kayaking, and swimming minutes from most communities. Summer here is genuinely special.

Kids & Family Life

The Detroit Zoo, Michigan Science Center, Cranbrook Art Museum, and year-round community events across every suburb make this an excellent place to raise a family. The school sports culture here is real.

Coffee & Weekends

Great Lakes Coffee, La Rondinella, Dessert Oasis, and a dozen indie spots across the suburbs mean you'll never be far from a good morning. Farmers markets run from May through October.

Pro Sports

Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, Pistons — Detroit is a legitimate sports city. Ford Field, Comerica Park, and Little Caesars Arena are all downtown, and the game-day culture here is worth experiencing.

Shopping & Retail

Birmingham's Maple Road and Old Woodward are genuinely excellent — boutiques, specialty shops, and national brands in a walkable setting. Twelve Oaks and Somerset Collection round it out.

Arts & Culture

The DIA, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Cranbrook, and a thriving music scene mean you'll never run out of things to do on a weekend. One of the city's most underrated assets.

Summer on the Lakes

Lake St. Clair, Whitmore Lake, the Huron chain — metro Detroiters have serious access to water in summer. If your family has any interest in boating or paddleboarding, this area delivers.

A relocation experience built around your life, not our schedule.

Relocating is a lot. We've done this before — a lot. Here's how we make it as straightforward as possible for you.

1

A full Zoom consultation first

Before anything else, we get on a call and actually talk through your life — where you're coming from, what you're hoping to find, your timeline, and any concerns keeping you up at night. No generic intake form. A real conversation.

2

A curated shortlist of neighborhoods and properties

Based on your conversation, we put together a personalized list. Not a Zillow dump. Actual properties and neighborhoods we think are worth your time, with our honest read on each one.

3

Local insider recommendations

The best restaurants, the hotels worth staying at when you visit, the school open houses to request, and everything a local would tell their best friend who just landed in town.

4

A welcome gift when you arrive

When you come to Metro Detroit, you'll hear from us before you check in. A welcome gift, local recommendations in hand, and a team ready to make the most of your time here.
